Our customers have asked for a good, workhorse yarn, and we’ve found the perfect options with Cascade 220 (pictured above) and Cascade 128 Superwash. Everyone knows of Cascade (it’s the #1 yarn on Ravelry, used nearly 70,000 times!), but we’re finding that not everyone has knit with it yet. Liz is working on knitting up some samples.
Cascade 220 is 220 yards of worsted weight, feltable wool. At only $7.25 a skein, it’s perfect for all your projects, including sweaters, blankets, children’s clothing, toys, and just about anything else you can think of. We have a selection of classic colors as well as 220 Heathers.
Cascade 128 Superwash (above) is a chunky, superwash wool that knits up fast on size 10 needles. $12.75 per 128 yard skein!
We also brought in Eco Duo (below), a worsted weight wool-alpaca blend that’s just stunning and so soft you have to feel it to believe it. $13.50 for 197 yards, in beautiful natural shades.
