The store is overflowing with fall yarns! Here are a few that are new to Knit Culture:
Lorna’s Laces Honor (right) is a DK-weight alpaca-silk blend with an amazing drape, dyed for us in Lorna’s Laces’ beautiful Green Line colors as well as a few of their signature variegateds.
Dream in Color Smooshy with Cashmere (left) is a fingering weight blend of merino wool, cashmere, and nylon. If you’ve worked with the original Smooshy, you know that Dream in Color yarns have amazing color and great sproinginess (technical term); Smooshy with Cashmere is no exception, and is incredibly soft and drapey to boot.
Blue Sky Alpacas Suri Merino (right) is a new-to-us yarn, though you may have seen it before. It’s a single ply, DK-weight blend of suri alpaca and merino wool.
The Fibre Company Acadia (left) is a brand new blend of merino, baby alpaca, and silk. The silk “slubs” make the yarn look almost tweedy. Knits at DK gauge.
Rowan Kidsilk Stripe (right) takes our perennial favorite Kidsilk Haze and makes it more fun by introducing a long-sequence color change, somewhat like Noro. This one is so new it’s not on our website yet, but check back soon or stop into the store if you’re in the neighborhood.
We’re full up, so this Saturday and Sunday we’re having a big backroom sale on older stock.
