newyarnsblogpost

We’re looking back on all our favorite yarns that arrived in 2010. Keep an eye out for all the great yarns that are coming in 2011!

Top Row:
Think about really soft cashmere. Now think about gorgeous hand-dyed colors. Put them together and you get Jade Sapphire. With a stunning selection of colors and a hand that cannot be matched, these yarns are perfect for lace shawls, sweaters, scarves, anything you can think of that should be soft and beautiful. To make gifts with, they are yarns that cannot be equaled.

Check out Jade Sapphire Cashmere 4-ply and Jade Sapphire Cashmere 2-ply.

Middle Row:
Madelinetosh began in 2006 with an idea of creating an artists palette of hand knitting yarns, fulfilling a desire for the perfect hue. Enthused with a love of painting and influenced by the rich history of art in textiles, Madelinetosh sought to create a color palette guided by the subtle nuances and layered depth of colors found in the natural world.

Check out Madelinetosh Pashmina and Madelinetosh DK.

Bottom Row:
The philosophy behind the Mirasol Project supports local communities in Peru through the sales of the Mirasol Yarn Collection. The Mirasol Yarn Collection includes yarn made from the animals tended by these communities for generations in the Peruvian highlands.
