I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks since Vogue Knitting Live! None of us has ever done a show like that before, and we had no idea how much work it would be. Add in our crazy idea to bring new patterns from 21 designers, and it’s been a whirlwind couple of months of hard work. I am BEAT! But it’s really been a blast.

All of our VKL kits are now up on our site, so if you’ve been thinking about getting one you should click on over. All of us have bought at least one of them ourselves! We finally have some time to knit.
Sara is making CocoKnits’ Veronika, a fun “swancho,” or pancho with sweater-like sleeves knitted in Reliquary II, an amazing merino and silk lace-weight yarn from A Verb For Keeping Warm.
Liz has cast on for Westknits’ Helm, a manly cabled hat, in Verb’s new Slick, a DK weight yarn that combines Blue-Faced Leicester (my favorite kind of wool!) with silk.
And I have it on pretty good authority that she’s also planning to make French Press Knits’ Legacy, the stunning wrap done in Madelinetosh Pashmina; Heirloom Stitches’ Baby Babar, a ruched baby blanket in Spud and Chloe Sweater; AND Noir Knits’ Posy, a baby cardigan in Lorna’s Laces Honor (I designed that one!).

I brought home yarn and pattern for Kat Coyle’s Let It Be hat and cuffs, which take just one skein of Dream In Color Smooshy with Cashmere. I’m rushing through my pile of WIPS so I can get started on them before it gets cold!

What are you knitting?
