As we’ve mentioned, we’re all crazy about Madelinetosh yarns. Liz knitted up the store sample for Tosh Merino Light using a beautiful shawl pattern by Gudrun Johnson, Solan (Ravelry link) from the booklet The Shetland Trader. It’s knitted bottom-up, which is fairly unusual for a triangular shawl, and uses traditional Shetland lace motifs.
The color is Terrarium, which is a subtle and rich variegated green and brown. Both yarn and booklet are available in the store and online, and you can stop by the shop to see the shawl in person. The colors are pretty incredible!
