I saw a picture of Narvik even before the magazine came out and fell in love. Simple, cabled, and in my favorite kind of colors. I tried to resist, but none of my other projects measured up. They weren’t as soft, as fuzzy, as cabled. They weren’t what I wanted.
I gave in. I was done in less than a month.
Cocoon is a combination of mohair and wool spun into a thick yarn that knits up delightfully fast on 10 1/2 needles. It debut last year with a half-dozen colors after my own heart, greys, blacks, browns. This year they have expanded into more colors and put out a new Rowan Cocoon Book well worth perusing.
