Ysolda Teague is a Scottish designer known for her whimsical and accessible patterns. She graduated from university and immediately began working full-time as a designer; her work has been featured in Knitty, Twist Collective, and Brace New Knits (among other publications!) as well as her own website and booklets Whimsical Little Knits 1 and Whimsical Little Knits 2. She also just released Little Red In The City, a sweater book with patterns as well as instructions to make sweaters that fit your body perfectly.
Ysolda’s most popular pattern is Ishbel, a triangular lace shawl from Whimsical Little Knits 1 that can be knitted in two sizes using lace or fingering weight yarns. There are over 10,000 projects on Ravelry! Ishbel is pictured at left.
Ysolda’s most recent pattern is Roisin, a hooded scarf with a vintage pixie look and clever construction similar to that of a short-row sock toe, from Interweave Holiday Gifts. Roisin is pictured at right.
